G&A Maintenance has been established for over 25 years, starting the business out in September 1992 we have undertaken many different types of works over the years and we are still a family run business. We offer a friendly, down to earth service, and have helped many customers to realise their landscaping and gardening dreams.
Our business has evolved over the years from small domestic gardening work, progressing to the undertaking of large and diverse landscaping and groundwork. Although we have grown exponentially to one of the largest companies of landscapers in the area, we have not forgotten where we started from. We still offer all our customers a friendly and polite service, competitive prices and a professional high standard of work.
Grass cutting and grounds maintenance still forms the main back bone of our business for private individuals, commercial and industrial sites all around the region. But over the years and through the breadth of landscaping contracts, we have developed our stock of equipment and machinery, so that we have all the best tools for the wide variety of work we undertake. We continue to reinvest in our business to keep us at the forefront of our industry and your requirements.
G&A Maintenance are able to undertake works of any size; for new builds or new to you homes, we can perform services such as laying down turfing or seeding of lawns; planting and pruning trees, bushes, hedges, and other plants; construction or repairs of patios, decking, and fencing. We also offer these services to stately homes and factory sites, and even parks and estates of all types up to new large developments. In addition, we can offer services such as kerbing, drainage, laying foundations and driveways, up to full landscaping of the areas from plan.
We employ people from around the region with a variety of different skills; from grass cutters and general landscapers, through to highly skilled and experienced ground workers and joiners. Providing the region with talented local gardeners is a wonderful part of our work, and we love to see the efforts of our team reflected in garden lawns, park grounds and green landscapes everywhere.
Based in a rural farming community, G & A have worked with many different animals, domesticated and wild. We have built and repaired horse stables, paddocks, show jumps and cross country courses, along with outdoor arenas and covered or enclosed arenas. Our experience of equine services over the years also allows us to give advice on setting up and getting the best efficiency from stables, paddocks, and indoor and outdoor arenas. Apart from farm maintenance, we have also developed years of experience at keeping unwanted and invasive animals out of smaller gardens; rabbits, badgers and moles can all do a lot of damage to your prized plants and lawn, so we offer our services to remove them from your garden and install appropriate fencing to prevent them returning.
If you have a project up and coming or started and need advice, we are available to discuss matters and there will always be a friendly voice at the end of the phone, who will do their absolute best to help. We can be contacted 6 days a week; from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday, and from 9am till 12 noon on Saturday; and we are happy to visit your site, without obligation, for large or small projects.
From our location at Sherburn on the A64, we are ideally located to undertake works in Scarborough, Eastfield, Filey, Hunmanby, Whitby, Bridlington, Malton, Old Malton, Norton, Pickering and outlying villages. We can also travel further afield, we regularly undertake works around Beverley, Hull, Pocklington, Selby, York and Harrogate.
